Hi, I'm Michelle, a former fat girl. I'm also a food addict. I've lost 115 lbs since September 2008 following a clean eating diet. In July 2009, I achieved a dream of becoming a triathlete, and in August 2009, I become one of those crazy long distance running lovers I always thought were completely crazy after I crossed the finish line of my first half-marathon.
Some people think losing 100 lbs means I've been "cured". That is far from the truth. I still struggle daily with temptations and cravings. Most of the time I'm strong and keep pushing towards a healthier life. But sometimes, I cave, and answer the siren song of food. It's all about balance. Knowing when to cave in, knowing I'm not a failure if I do.
I still have work to do before I reach my goal, but this is no longer a race for me. As long as I make every day better than the last, I'm a success!

This is a small corner of my work space, to the right of my pc.
My daily water goal is to drink 32 oz of H2O by noon, and another 32 oz before I go home for the day. The little yellow smiley face sipper for my Nalgene bottle keeps the water from splashing out of the wide mouth bottle, and I feel like the little dude is cheering me on every time I take a sip! I heart this particular nalgene bottle because it's the same one the Biggest Loser contestants use on the ranch, and I got it when I went to the BL6 finale in LA in December :)
I love it!! The smiley face is adorable!! Water, water, water, that is my mantra!!!
How CUTE!!
That must have been so fun in LA!
Keep guzzling that water girl...my goal is to drink 96 oz of water each day...it really does help with the fat loss :D
LOL, love it!
