Want to join in? Just follow me on Twitter, and watch for the Twitter Question of the Week (posted by 8am CST on the previous Wednesday). All replies received via Twitter or Facebook by 10am on Friday will get posted with a link back to you!

Complete the following sentence: "Fitness is ..."

  • Betsy says: Fitness is addicting! my new way of life, that's for sure. :-)

  • Briane says: Fitness keeps me mentally sane and I can eat more on my run days. WOOT!

  • Pam says: Fitness is a necessary evil to be successful in your weight loss journey and maintenance

  • Geoffrey says: Fitness is: Exercise & Nutrition. Exercise is king, Nutrition is queen, together they make a kingdom - Jack Lalane

  • Amanda says: fitness is what helped me meet my goals and now a huge part of my life. Thank u fitness!!!

  • Beckie-Lyn says: Fitness is a lifesaver!!!!!!

  • Pamela says: Fitness is a state of wellness!!!!

I love how everyone's definitions of Fitness are positive! The old me would have said something like this, "Fitness is impossible" or "Fitness is excrutiating" or "Fitness is too time consuming". The new me says ...

  • Fitness is a blessing! I feel so blessed every time I do a P90X workout or go out for a run or just play with my kids. I thank Jesus for granting me with my health and for always believing in me, especially when I didn't believe in myself. When I'm out running for an hour or more, I love listening to the strong beating of my heart and reveling in the strength of my legs to carry me that far!

Thank you all so much for your love and support over my rough couple of days this week. Your support - and this blog - keeps me going. Like Marcelle said, knowing that I have all of you amazing readers in my corner, cheering me on and looking to me for inspiration really helps keep me on track. So, a very big thank you to each and every one of you!!

My P90X workouts and half-marathon training and EA Active Challenge are going well. I think the triple workouts are definitely helping with stress management - you can't deny all those endorphins running through your body!!

So here's today's workouts:

AM: 3 mile run, EA Active Challenge Day 6
PM: P90X Day 4: Yoga X

I picked up The House Bunny from the library the other day, and can't wait to watch it tonite. It looks really cute and I need the laughs after the week I've had :) I hope everyone has a great labor day weekend? Any big plans?

xo,

"Fitness - If it came in a bottle, everybody would have a great body." Cher

AND i am glad you are still hanging in there, strong and fierce as ever, despite your hard week!!! it seems like the lord always knows our limit, and will never let anything become more than we can endure....
you have proven that real strength comes from within, long before the physical strength catches up-
proud of you chica!!!

Thank you Melissa! I too used to always think that the Lord will never give me more than I can handle (and I know this to be true), but a friend told me hard times are also the Lord's way of drawing us closer to Him! How wonderful is that? When I think of these two things during a tough situation, things always start to look better!
